| The 2005 roadmap - 2004 has been a very important year for YACS, because of the so many new features that have been added. Now my own mother has started to use a YACS system to report on family events, and she is new to Internet technologies.
However, this powerful package is still a little baby compared to other PHP/MySQL solutions. In 2005 we will have to make it a mature solution -- together. Ideally, I would like my last boy (he's 7) to install his first YACS server on his own. And I am hoping to draw YACS to the attention to many talented PHP and CSS experts as well.

| YACS has less bugs (supposedly) - Open-source advocates have stated for a long time that sharing source files had very good effects on program quality.
This has been proven to be true for Linux.
